Getting around

4Tram 4 — your line

The stop is called Prinsengracht — literally 25 steps from our door, on the bridge. You can see it from your window.

Northbound it takes you via Rembrandtplein and Dam Square straight to Central Station in about 20 minutes. Southbound it runs through De Pijp (Albert Cuyp Market) to Station RAI.

Paying is easy: just tap your contactless bank card or phone when you board — and don't forget to tap out when you leave.

Trams run every 5 to 10 minutes all day — the first ones leave around 5:50 AM and they keep going until well past midnight.

Flower market on the Amstelveld

Every Monday, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the leafy Amstelveld square fills with stalls selling fresh flowers and plants — a real local market that most tourists never find.

It's literally around the corner: step out the front door, turn right and you're on the Amstelveld in about twenty steps. Perfect excuse for a morning stroll — and a small bouquet for your room.

Time for one more stroll? Leave your luggage in our office and pick it up whenever you like, later today. Keep your key with you to get back in — and deposit it in the box when you collect your bags.
